The City of Missoula Street Maintenance Division will begin its street cleaning schedule on Monday, April 6. (Has Begun) Street cleaning activities will take place on weekdays in cleaning zones throughout the city and run through August. Street cleaning is important to preserve air quality by sweeping up winter’s sand as it starts to blow in the spring winds. It also helps keep sediment and debris out of the storm water drainage system.
